An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Administrator within our Community Learning Disabilities Team!

Our administrators play a key role in supporting the Council, helping us to provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. Working in an ever-changing environment, you will be required to multi-task and work to deadlines. This is for a 6 month fixed term to cover maternity leave.

You will need to work independently, on your own initiative, and as part of a team with varied support needs; but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.
 

 


Successful candidates will have:

  • A passion to help people 
  • The ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Great communication skills
  • Good knowledge and experience of MS office,  as well as general IT skills 

Ongoing training and development opportunities will be made available to you. 

Your contracted base will be Cavendish House (Hastings) with the requirement to be available to work at either Cavendish House in Hastings or Bellbrook in Uckfield when required (we currently split our working time between office and home working). Current corporate direction is 1 office day minimum per week which may change in future.

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm; and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
