JOB DESCRIPTION
SCHOOL: Torfield and Saxon Mount Academy Trust/The Talking Trust
POST: Executive Headteacher/Chief Executive Officer
SCALE ALLOWANCE: L38 – L43 (5 point range on Executive Leader scale)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chair of Trustees, TaSMAT/ Chair of Trustees TTT
The particular duties assigned to this post may be reviewed and amended in consultation with the post holder, in the light of any changes in the requirements and priorities within the Trusts. Variations in the duties of Executive Headteacher/CEO are common occurrences and cannot in themselves justify a regrading of the post.
The Executive Headteacher/CEO within TaSMAT will be required to undertake duties and responsibilities associated with every school within the Trust, including other schools working in formal partnership with TaSMAT/TTT and may be based at any of the involved establishments, as requested by the Chairs of Trustees. TaSMAT and TTT Chairs of Trustees will work in close partnership to ensure that workflow is not hampered by the partnership arrangements between the Trusts. The Executive Headteacher/CEO is accountable to both boards, the Chairs of Trustees at both Trusts, on behalf of their respective boards, will communicate directly with the Executive Headteacher/CEO.
