Unqualified Teacher Post

Full time post on initially fixed term contract – this may be extended

START DATE: February/March 2025

SALARY: Unqualified pay range 1 – 6

(£21,731 - £33,902)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated unqualified teacher to teach an intensive catch-up reading programme to individuals or small groups of children in school. 

The successful candidate will:

  • be an excellent teacher with QTS who has a passion for supporting children to become confident readers in KS2.
  • have high expectations of learning and behaviour.
  • have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

If you are a graduate with QTS who would like the opportunity to develop your teaching skills through 1:1 and small group work, this would be a chance for you to gain valuable in-school experience to support your professional development.  There may also be the opportunity for occasional class cover in EYFS and KS1.
