Teaching Assistant

22.5 hrs per week, term time only.

Single Status Pay Scale, Grade 3, Point 7, £24,027 pro rata

We are an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school looking for a dedicated person for the post of Teaching Assistant and Play Leader.  Based in Key Stage 1, you will work as the Class Teaching Assistant supporting the teacher with all aspects of the teaching and learning of the class. In addition, you will work as a Play Leader in the playground at lunchtime. Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.

  • Experience of working with children. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of children. 
  • A highly motivated person who can work alone or as part of a team. 
  • Competency in maths, literacy and ICT. 
  • Someone who is reliable, efficient, clear thinking and has high standards.
