Hours of work: Up to 20 hours of work per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 7.82 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrator to join our Office team from 3rd February 2025 (or as soon as possible after this date depending on resignation periods), for one year in the first instance. The role is Fixed Term to cover the maternity leave of our current member of the office team. There will be a handover period to help you settle into the role.
The hours are 8.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday but there could be some flexibility for the right candidate.
The post is term time only so the salary is pro rata.
The office is the first point of contact for everyone upon arrival at the school, and is a busy environment to work in. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work at a fast pace, and to develop excellent relationships with staff, pupils, parents / carers, external agencies and visitors.
- You will need to promote a positive and welcoming approach to all, and have excellent time management skills.
- You will have the support of the office team and colleagues through school.
- The ideal candidate will have good ICT skills being proficient in the use of word and excel, and display accurate filing and record keeping skills
- Experience of schools systems including Arbor, Parent Pay, School Comms, and Teachers 2 Parents would be an advantage, but not essential.
- A willingness to learn is crucial, and full training will be available. The School provides excellent ongoing CPD to all staff, relevant to individual roles and wider school development including safeguarding.
