Hours of work: Variable 
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.06 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Cross in Hand is a happy and successful C of E Primary School in Heathfield, East Sussex.  We have genuinely lovely children, supportive parents and a great team of staff.

We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to work 1:1 with a child to help them achieve their personal targets in order to be successful in a mainstream setting.

The successful candidate would need to remain calm under pressure and have a firm, consistent yet nurturing approach to supporting children.

We can offer flexibility with this role. Please indicate on your application form if you would prefer a role  for whole days, mornings or afternoons. We take every effort to match an INA with the child; considering personality, skills and experiences. 

If invited to interview, yet not selected for the particular child, there may be other roles which emerge over time. Candidates are always asked permission for us to contact them at a future date it another position arises.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
