Term time only, 37.5 hours per week
Salary range: FTE £36,973 - £43,295, Band 6 Therapy Pay scale (pro rata salary range for term time only, part time is £33,560 - £39,298). Salary dependant on skills and experience.
St Mary’s is looking to recruit a fulltime (term time only) school nurse. The primary role of the school’s nurse will be to provide safe and up to date first aid and medical care to the pupils/students in line with the school’s Supporting Pupils with Medical Conditions in School policy and in accordance with the National Minimum Standards for Residential Schools and to deliver the PSHE lessons as part of the school’s education curriculum.
St Mary’s is a residential special school and college for pupils / students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated SEND. Our pupils are a delight to work with and we have a highly positive and friendly staff team.
Applicants must hold a nursing degree or a nursing qualification recognised by the NMC. Registration with the NMC is essential. Experience of working in an educational setting is desirable.
This is a full-time (37.5 hrs per week, term time only) position.
