If you do, then you could find working as a Senior Practitioner in our Transitions Team really rewarding.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner to join East Sussex County Council’s Transitions Service. Our staff in this Service work with adults with learning disabilities, their families and carers, and contribute to making a positive impact to their lives.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will provide advice and guidance to our staff, through daily support and regular supervision. An essential part of the role focuses on the development of our workforce, through identifying training and opportunities. You will also work closely with our health colleagues and key partner agencies, and oversee enquiries relating to Safeguarding.
We are looking for candidates who:
- have communication skills
- are committed to training and personal development
- are able to meet the travel requirements of the post
- have, or would be willing to obtain, a Social Work qualification
Our hybrid working arrangements allow for a mix of being home and office based (Eastbourne) throughout the week. You will also need to be able to travel across the county to visit clients.

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
