Hours of work: 26.66 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to support two children with SEN, in our Foundation Stage. Primarily based in Foundation Stage, you will be joining a close and supportive team of colleagues including teachers and teaching assistants. You will also be part of the wider team of INA's across the school who are supported by the High Needs Facility Lead, the SENCO and the wider Leadership Team.  

  • Previous experience of this kind of role will be an advantage but not essential.
  • The successful candidate will be someone who is kind, patient and able to take time to develop positive relationships with the children you work with. 
  • You should be someone who enjoys being positive and encouraging children, resilient and able to adapt quickly to changing situations.   
  • You should have good literacy and maths skills. 
  • Above all, the successful candidate will be committed to making a positive contribution to the school life of our pupils.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
