We have a vacancy for a Receptionist and Attendance Administrator
To start as soon as possible
35 hours per week: part time: term time only: 08:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday (includes half an hour lunch break, which is unpaid)
Salary Range: Single Status Grade 3 Point 7 £22,737 – Single Status Grade 5 Point 13 £24,293 pro rata
(Actual salary £18,974 - £20,273 per annum)

We are looking for a Receptionist with a warm, friendly and calm manner to be the first point of contact for our parents, children, staff and visitors. In addition, you will have administrative responsibilities for recording and tracking daily pupil attendance and absence messages into our management information system (currently, Arbor).
Our ideal candidate will have:
- a high standard of professional and personal presentation;
- an excellent record for punctuality and attendance;
- successful experience of administrative work in a busy school environment or equivalent;
- excellent communication, language and numeracy skills;
- a good understanding of confidentiality and data protection policies;
- clear and concise record keeping skills;
- experience of management information systems and Microsoft applications;
- the skills to support the unique and diverse needs of families in a sensitive manner;
- a willingness to develop a good understanding of the Academy’s ethos and the learning experience provided;
- the ability to be a supportive and trustworthy team member, who can work independently too;
- a willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.
