The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

Denton Community Primary school is a small yet strong learning community situated in the village of Denton, East Sussex.
The Governors are seeking an inspirational, creative and caring person to be the next Headteacher of our school.
We seek someone who:
- Is able to offer strong and stable leadership across all aspects of school life
- Is able to engage with and communicate effectively and professionally with the entire school community and beyond
- Has a clear sense of vision and the skills and knowledge to lead the school into the next stage of its history and development
- Is open to considering the future status of the school.
- Has a sound grasp of budgetary considerations
- Is proactive and interactive
- Has a clear sense of effective behaviour management.
- Has a good sense of humour and sees themselves as being part of the school’s professional team
The successful candidate will be supported by an enthusiastic leadership team, a caring and professional staff and a supportive governing body.
