King Offa Primary Academy is looking to appoint an energetic, innovative Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and forward-thinking team.

The successful candidate will need to be a good team player and be able to work with the flexibility that a busy school environment demands. This role will involve a variety of duties from working in small groups, with individual children and cover teaching whole classes when the teacher is not available. The salary shown reflects an interim 2024/2025 pay award, pending completion of the negotiations between the National Employers and the Trade Unions. The difference between this and what is agreed as the final pay award will be paid as a lump sum back pay, when announced by the government and the Trade Unions.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
