Do you want to make a genuinely positive impact on the SEND provision in East Sussex schools?

If you do, then you may be ideally suited to the role of CLASS Adviser.

As a CLASS Adviser, you can make a real difference to the lived experience of children and young people with SEND in East Sussex schools. You will work closely with educational settings to provide high quality advice and training to schools to support children and young people with SEND across East Sussex. The post will be based in County Hall, Lewes.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are passionate about championing change for children with SEND
  • Are highly experienced and in the areas of Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN), including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
  • Have extensive experience of working with children and young people with SEND
  • Are team orientated, self-motivated and creative

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who hold additional dyslexia qualifications.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
