Hours of work: 15 hours per week (Mon- Fri, 3:00pm – 6.00pm)
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata

After School Club Assistant required

Are you full of energy at 3.00pm? We could have just the job for you!

We want to give the children an inspirational adventure after a long day at school at our After School Club. We provide a creative range of activities from sport, cooking to art. All our activities are designed to complement the school day while also presenting additional opportunities to encourage the children to get active, explore the outdoors, relax, unwind and express themselves, try something new and develop new relationships with others across the school.

The club has a real relaxed, family feel. Could you be part of this team and make our After School Club a place they love to be? If so, please apply!

Level 2 or 3 Qualifications in play work or childcare or working towards or willing to work towards this qualification would be an advantage, but not necessary. A certificate in food hygiene and a first aid qualification would be desirable but not essential as training will be given.

You will be fully supported through an Induction program and introduced to your role. 

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. 
The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
