If you are highly organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic and are looking for a new challenge then this is the role for you!

The Operational Development Team within Adult Social Care & Health are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to help us deliver a Sussex-wide overarching programme of digital and mainstream technology services for unpaid carers, working with a range of services, departments and stakeholders in the local health and care system and the voluntary sector.

The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering this Accelerated Reform Fund (ARF) Sussex programme of work across the footprint of the Sussex Integrated Care System (ICS), including three local authority areas; East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

Care for the Carers East Sussex, Brighton & Hove Carers Centre, Carer Support West Sussex (our 3 Carers Organisations) and NHS Sussex have worked with the three local authorities to develop the initial proposal and will remain key partners throughout the lifespan of the project.

The role of the Project Manager will involve close working with all the above stakeholders, including carers themselves: ensuring that they are fully involved in the development of services to meet their digital and technology needs.

The two projects to be delivered within the funding of the programme are to:

  1. develop a digital carers pathway, from identification to support
  2. develop the use of Mainstream Technology for carers

You will be an excellent communicator, highly organised and with experience of delivering projects and engaging with a range of stakeholders.

To apply for this role please follow the ‘Apply Now’ button above. When completing your application be sure to address how you meet all of the criteria in the person specification, using this criteria as headings and drawing on any relevant work/life experience, education or personal interests.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on Monday 29 July 2024. If you are unavailable on this date please let us know in your application and we may be able to schedule an alternative date.

We offer a diverse range of benefits to help and support you during your employment. More information can be found on our benefits page.

For an informal discussion about this opportunity contact Carla Stafford, Operations Manager on Carla.Stafford@eastsussex.gov.uk to request a MS Teams call or phone call.
