For September 2024

An opportunity has arisen to join our experienced and passionate teaching team at All Saints’ and St Richard’s CE Primary School. We are a small and thriving Church of England Primary School based in the beautiful village of Old Heathfield. Our school vision and values are at the heart of everything that we do here at ASSR.

Not only do we offer a nurturing environment in which children can embrace their uniqueness, learn about themselves and the world around them, we are also a school that strives for academic excellence; providing each of our pupils with stretch and challenges across all subjects and phases.

We are looking to appoint an excellent class teacher to join our school family. We are keen to hear from highly skilled and inspirational teachers who are dedicated to providing a happy, positive and creative learning environment where each child can flourish. Applications are welcome from Early Career Teachers able to evidence the potential to develop and operate at outstanding levels. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small, half-form entry school with a strong commitment to working together with our Federation, Local Alliance schools, and a supportive school team.

We are looking for:

  • Someone who is understanding of, and willing to contribute to the wider school ethos and vision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Someone who demonstrates a love of learning and is ambitious for our children
  • Evidence of your impact as a teacher on pupil progress and attainment

We can offer you:

  • A supportive, warm and welcoming team
  • Skilled and dedicated teachers
  • Polite, engaged and curious pupils
  • A beautiful location and outdoor space
  • Training and career development in your role as Class Teacher

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please call the school office on 01435 863466. Full details and information on how to apply can be found on our school website under ‘Key Information’. https://www.assr.e-sussex.sch.uk.
