Can you analyse complex processes to redesign them to bring efficiencies and benefits?

Children’s Services are recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to join the Shared Care Information Systems (SCIS) Team which delivers system developments for Children’s Services and Adult Social Care.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for building and implementing new modules, onboarding new teams, as well as managing developments to the early help, social care, and education Liquidlogic systems, supplied by SystemC, to support local and national requirements.

You will work alongside a team of Senior Business Analysts, who each lead on a particular system/service area, working flexibly to cover for each other when needed, as well as working weekends approximately twice a year to oversee upgrades.

You will line manage Business Analysts, guiding them on business analysis standards and techniques, as well as overseeing the quality of their work.

Working collaboratively with senior leaders, front line staff, IT colleagues and software suppliers, you will create a centre of excellence for the systems, delivering benefits and efficiencies whilst solving issues.

Relevant business analysis or line management experience is an advantage. However, whilst knowledge of Children’s Services or SystemC software is beneficial, full training will be given.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Has a positive, upbeat, and motivating attitude.
  • Can develop excellent working relationships, listening and acting on requests.
  • Has a sharp analytical mind, taking the initiative to deliver whilst ensuring the bigger picture is met.
  • Enjoys finding simple, efficient solutions to complex issues and can explain complex IT to stakeholders in plain English.

To apply for this role please follow the ‘Apply Now’ button above. When completing your application be sure to address how you meet all the criteria in the person specification, using these criteria as headings and drawing on any relevant work/life experience, education, or personal interests.
