Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role, supporting variety projects at the heart of the Adult Social Care departments and County Council’s community offer?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the development and delivery of cross sector working with the voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector across East Sussex.

We are seeking to recruit to a new 2 year fixed-term Project Officer post within the Adult Social Care Partnership Team. The Partnerships Team leads on the co-ordination of programmes relating to Asylum Seeker & Refugee Resettlement, Financial Inclusion, Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise partnership / infrastructure arrangements, Community Network Hubs. We are looking to appoint a dynamic Project Officer who has the flexibility to adapt to the varied aspects of the team's work, and who is interested in learning more.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Officer to provide a high level of support to collaborations and partnership working that helps build positive relationships and develop new ways of working. You will support the Partnerships Team by contributing to a wide range of projects, contracts, and grants - this will include administrative and strategic support as well as opportunities for working with a range of stakeholders. In particular, the work will directly support the Financial Inclusion Programme and the Migrant Support service

Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to be experienced and confident in working with Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations and public sector partners in order to understand issues and concerns and collectively develop solutions and new ways of working. You will have a proven ability to manage a diverse workload, and be highly motivated and well organised, with a high level of attention to detail.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
