The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

Pashley Down Infant School is a wonderful and unique three form infant school. We are situated at the foot of the South Downs in Old Town, Eastbourne. The school benefits from amazing outdoor grounds and our happy confident children enjoy rich learning opportunities in class and on our mini-farm, woodlands and allotments. We are grateful to have a passionate forward-thinking staff, parents and governors. 

We are looking for a Class Teacher to join our happy school from September 2024. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, outstanding teacher with high expectations for all children and have recent experience at infant level. They will be passionate about making learning meaningful, enjoyable and challenging. 
The successful candidate will be joining an experienced and dynamic team, committed to ensuring that, in partnership with parents, young children have the best possible start in life.
