You could support our looked after children with their education and help them to be aspirational and fulfil their academic potential.

The Virtual School supports children and young people in care to achieve educationally in all aspects of their lives and contribute positively to their communities.  We also play a role in promoting the education of children and young people with a social worker.  We are looking to appoint a caseworker who will work as part of a Virtual School team and together with a range of partners to support our children and young people. 

This is term time only role and so can fit well around your other commitments.  This post is full time, term time only but we would consider part time applicants.

We are looking for candidates who have experience of working with children and young people and a passion to help them succeed.  Please see the full job description for a list of all criteria.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
