The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

PRE-SCHOOL PRACTITIONER

Permanent

37 hours per week Monday to Friday

(working hours to be discussed at interview) 

Term Time Only (incl INSET days)

Single Status Grade 4 Points 9-10

Salary Range £23,114 – 23,500 pro-rata (Actual Pay £19,970 - £20,303)

Starting date: as soon as possible

Closing date: 9am Thursday 29 February 2024

We are looking to appoint a Pre-School Practitioner who is highly motivated and committed to support our 2- to 4-year-olds within the continued development and success of our Early Years and Primary Phase.  The pre-school is a fantastic facility having opened in September 2016. We welcome applications from individuals who are looking for a new and exciting challenge and have the skills, drive and enthusiasm to support our children.  

The successful candidate will:

  • work effectively as part of the pre-school team, to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for our children;
  • implement and embed all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to the highest standard;
  • provide first aid provision and administer medicines where required.

You will join a team of dedicated and caring staff in establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our children.
