An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Fostering Team for a part-time Senior Business Administrator, working 37 hours per week in the Fostering Team, specifically supporting duty commissioning.
The Fostering Duty team facilitate the appropriate placement of East Sussex Looked After Children (LAC) through both in-house resources and the commissioning of external provision.
As a Senior Business Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including creating and implementing new systems, arranging team meetings, and dealing with professionals at the forefront of our service.
Routine tasks include:
- Creating, updating, and formatting spreadsheets
- Ensuring Emergency Duty Team have sufficient information to provide out of hours cover
- Supporting the Operations Manager, managing group inboxes and coordinating queries
- Arranging placement reviews and minuting meetings
- Keeping and updating electronic documents
- Sending out Information Captures to external provisions
- Cross checking information for unregulated provision staff
Our senior business administrators play a key role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It’s fast-paced and varied, but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
