Hours of work: 31.4 hours
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6,05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

Teaching Assistants

4 POSTS:  HOURS: 31 hours 40 minutes a week

(Monday to Friday 8.35am – 3.25pm)

THERE MAY BE POSSIBILITY OF POSITIONS BECOMING PERMANENT FOR SEPTEMBER 2024

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated people to join us at Meridian Community Primary School as Teaching Assistants for the following posts:

•         EYFS Teaching Assistant (supporting in Reception, supporting SEND 1:1 and running small group interventions)

•         Year One Teaching Assistant (supporting in class, supporting SEND 1:1 and running small group interventions)

•         Speech and Language Teaching Assistant (non-class based working 1:1 and in small groups

delivering Speech and Language interventions across the school)

•         EYFS Teaching Assistant (supporting in Nursery, including SEND support)

The successful candidates will:

•         be willing to work effectively as part of a team
