Do you have experience of working with school aged children?
Are you passionate about working with children, families and schools to support young people with medical needs to successfully reintegrate back to their named school?
In this role you will:
- Manage a caseload of children who have physical or mental health barriers.
- Work closely with the Deputy Service Manager to carry out pupil and parent voice and a range of education based activities in the home, TLP centre, or school to support the child to engage and thrive in education.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Will undertake a support and challenge role within the Service to provide support, advice and guidance during periods of transition.
- Will undertake responsibilities in supporting children and young people to make progress through innovative pre-education activities in the home, transition support to the centre or school and complete targeted educational and therapeutic interventions.
- Are passionate about helping young people to overcome their barriers to learning by using a small stepped approach, appropriately paced, towards school reintegration.
- Have effective communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people including families, schools and other professionals.

Hours of work: 8.45am - 3.30pm
One position is Monday - Friday 52 weeks per year.
One position is three days a week, term time only

For the part time 31.5 hpw full year the salary will be approximately £16,632 per annum. For the part time, term time only position this will be approximately £9,900 per annum.
