Hellingly Community Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our team in our one form entry school, situated on the outskirts of Hailsham. Initially, this will be for one of our Key Stage 1 classes, starting in September 2023.
You will be joining a very committed staff and your ability to work well within our team is crucial. Excellent support will be available from colleagues in both our school and from our colleagues at Grovelands Community Primary School, as part of our Rampion Federation.
The successful applicant will be committed to high standards in teaching and learning in their own practice and be able to work both independently and within a team.
We are looking for someone with:
• The ability and desire to model and uphold the highest standards and expectations of learning for all
• Evidence of very strong classroom practice including the ability to plan and prepare high quality learning for all students
• Have a strong knowledge of working with children with Autism and other SEMH needs
• Has excellent behaviour management
• Has good practice of teaching phonics and the ability to follow the schools chosen phonic scheme
• A positive, proactive approach to all areas of school life
• An ability to inspire confidence in colleagues, parents and the wider community
