We are looking to recruit Driver/Care Assistants for our Learning Disability Day services.
The locations are:
- Crowborough, 1 x 30 hour post, working across 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- Bexhill, 1x 30 hour post, working across 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Our services provide day support to adults with learning disabilities. As a driver, you will be part of the transport crew for our 16-seater minibuses and as a care assistant you will be supporting adults with learning disabilities in a day service setting to learn independence skills or building links with our local community.
Applicants will need to be available from 7.30am to 8pm on a rota basis.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a full clean driving licence with a D1 classification and are willing / able to safely drive a 16 seater vehicle
- Have experience of providing practical support to people, this may include personal care and teaching people new skills
- Are physically able to carry out all tasks as required
- Are committed to provide support
- Have an ethos of working together
Part of the recruitment process will require you to pass our ESCC driver assessment which we will arrange and pay for.
Please note: The salary advertised is based on 37 hours therefore the salary is pro rata

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
