East Sussex are excited to announce our new Connected Families Service; for families with children aged 11-17 who are on the edge of care. The Connected Families Service is a multidisciplinary team of professionals offering proactive, tailored support for families at their point of need.

The role is varied and requires an ability to multi-task. You will be able to organise your own workload to meet the demands of the service. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong MS office skills, good communication and data inputting skills. You should be flexible and self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be based at our office located within East Sussex College Hastings. 

This role will involve contact with families who are experiencing difficult circumstances and who may present with complex, challenging behaviour. The ability to relate to and engage with these families is essential. There is a culture of kindness and empathy created for our service users and staff in what can be very difficult circumstances and the successful candidate will be able to embrace and promote this culture.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
