Hours of work: 37 per week

 Are you looking for a management role in the transport profession?

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individual to work in the role of Team Manager – Transport Development Control within the Planning and Environment Service.

In this integral and high profile role, you will manage a high performing and supportive team that performs a number of core and statutory highway authority roles, including influencing new development proposals and approving and overseeing developer-led highway works.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience of working within the planning and/or transport development control sectors.
  • Have an ability to manage people and resources.
  • Have an ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with partner organisations.
  • Have experience of adapting a service/a way of working as a result of policy and legislative change.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
