Hours of work: 19.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time only (working for 52 weeks per year)

Ringmer Primary and Nursery School is a one and a half form entry primary school positioned on the edge of the South Downs National Park, near Lewes. The school was extended in 2016 providing us with a wonderful learning environment; we are situated in fantastic grounds that promote multiple opportunities for outdoor learning and provide excellent access to sporting facilities.

Ofsted June 2022 ‘The school is a calm, orderly environment. Pupils interact well with each other during lessons and when playing outside on the playground. They are attentive in lessons. Pupils are keen to add in their observations or answer questions.'

We are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher to cover a maternity leave post from  April and to teach a class of wonderful Year 4 children.  You will be part of a strong and supportive upper lower KS2 staff team who work closely together to ensure our children get the highest quality provision.

Which 3 days of the week that you teach can be determined through discussion at interview as the other 2 days will be taught by our SENCo who has 3 days out of class each week.
