Intensive Support Keyworker – Connected Families

East Sussex are excited to announce the launch of our new Connected Families Service; for families with children aged 11-17 who are on the edge of care. The Connected Families Service will bring together Intensive Support Practitioners, Connected Coaches, a Multi-Systemic Therapy Team, and allied professionals to enable proactive, tailored support for families at their point of need.

Intensive Support Keyworkers are aligned with both the Connected Families Service and the Government’s Supporting Families program to deliver a broad range of interventions to families with children aged 0-19.  

You will need to have experience of working with individuals or families who are facing tough times, a belief that most families can be supported to stick together and that all children have the right to a great future. 

We know that families’ needs do not fit into a neat 9-5 bubble; so, this post offers the opportunity to work flexibly across some evenings and weekends, for which an out of hours supplement may be payable. We will support you through peer, management, and clinical supervision; and enable you to develop an area of expert practice, building on your existing skills or shining light on a new subject.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
