Hours of work: 7.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Senior Midday Supervisor 7.5 hrs per week (11:45 to 13:15 each day) five days a week

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate about working with Primary School children

Holy Cross Church of England Primary School is a small, Church of England Voluntary Aided School for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 with real ambition. The school is situated in the heart of Uckfield and has one of the most appealing environments in the local area with lush fields, a huge Forest school and extensive grounds.

We are a community founded on the Christian Virtues of Courage, Love, Service, Compassion, Thankfulness and Hope and is very proud of its Christian distinctiveness having close links with Holy Cross Church. The school’s Christian Vision is underpinned by the Church of England Vision for Education ‘life in all its fullness (John 10:10).

The Role

There is a real sense of renewal in the school and we have a great team of staff and Governors who strive to provide the very best for all our pupils.

You will preferably be an experienced or aspiring individual who wishes to manage our children’s lunchtime experience.

We would like the ideal candidate to be well organised, have strong boundaries, be assertive, yet warm and friendly, have the ability to be creative and take initiative.

Lunchtime is a real important part of our children’s holistic education. The school has invested in play leaders and developing our children’s awareness of how they can support others to make the experience a memorable and fruitful one.
