Do you want to play a part in improving education outcomes for all children in East Sussex? If you do, the role of Administrative Support Officer will allow you to bring your skills to Children’s Services, Standards and Learning Effectiveness Team, based at County Hall in Lewes.

The job offers a great opportunity to advance your skills in a varied role and to play a key part in our ambitious school improvement team. Administrative Support Officers provide and continually improve systems to help colleagues deliver excellent services to East Sussex schools and other stakeholders. You will make a significant contribution to meeting team priorities and will also carry out discrete pieces of work.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have good general administration skills and knowledge of MS Office
  • Are flexible and self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can communicate well with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Understand confidentiality and data protection principles
  • Can organise and prioritise a busy and varied workload.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
