Permanent Early Engagement Elective Home Education Officer: Teaching and Learning Provision

Salary: Single Status 8

Do you have experience of working with children in schools and have an interest in supporting families who are considering elective home education?

ISEND are looking for a permanent Elective Home Education Support & Advice Officer to be based in Eastbourne with county-wide travel. The post involves providing advice, guidance and support for schools and families who are considering home education.  

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with parents, schools, and professionals.  You will be working with parents to understand the barriers to accessing education and to design support plans where needed.  This post will involve gaining the voice of the family and facilitating school-based meetings.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
