Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 7 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Cradle Hill Community Primary School is a three-form entry school with 649 pupils. We are a caring community school with a friendly atmosphere where each child feels happy and secure. You will be able to:
- Be good at motivating and encouraging pupils by giving different levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks tailored to pupils needs.
- Be a professional practitioner assisting in weaker areas such as speech and language, behaviour, reading, spelling, numeracy, handwriting/presentation.
- Be a good team player but are also able to work well on your own applying your own initiative.
- Be a good communicator with both children and adults.
- Be an ambassador for our school ethos and aims.
- Be competent in following policies such as behaviour and safeguarding.
- Be willing to learn and take part in any training needed.

It is a requirement of the post to hold an NVQ3 in a child-related subject or equivalent as well as NVQ level 2 in Maths and English.
