Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

The Governors at Parkside Community Primary School wish to appoint an inspirational and creative Early Years Practitioner for its onsite Preschool.

Knowledge and some experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, through a child led approach, is desirable but not essential. We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic, committed and friendly team. You must be energetic and have a sense of fun and nurture.

We can offer you supportive teamwork, and outstanding purpose built Early Years environment, training to suit your needs, and the school holidays!

Your role will include:

Maintaining high levels of communication across the staff team, with service users and other professionals, providing quality practice in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. You will also be expected to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children's learning and development.  Part of this role may include being a key worker for a small group of children.

Parkside offers the opportunity to be part of a friendly and forward thinking school team. We have recently achieved the Excellent HALO award and are working towards the ELKAN and Hygge programmes.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
