Hours of work: 15 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

After School Play Worker

SS Grade 2 – £18,516 pro rata (approx. £9.62 p/h) 

Can you deliver ‘Boredom Busting Brilliance?’

We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic Play Worker to join our busy and exciting PaWS Xtra After School Club. This will be for 5 days per week.  Our club promises to provide ‘Boredom Busting Brilliance’ every session in a safe and happy environment that our children love attending and that our parents can trust and rely on.  Our team of Play Workers must love working with our fantastic children and have a passion for helping create amazing, memorable experiences for them.

As a Play Worker, your role will be varied, fast paced and rewarding. You will need to be enthusiastic and energetic with a strong passion for delivering outstanding, stimulating play opportunities and the highest quality of childcare. The number one priority will be the enjoyment and wellbeing of the children and in striving to offer memorable and exciting sessions. The role will include preparing and supervising snacks, playing games both indoors and outside, using your creative skills to help organise and run engaging and fun activities and ensuring the children are happy, safe and entertained at every session.

Hours of work:  2:55 pm – 5:55 pm 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

We are also recruiting for a Mid-Day Supervisory Assistant (Mon-Fri 12:00-13:20) and would welcome applications for both positions
