Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service).
(As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro-rata)

Careers Adviser (Term Time)

To start as soon as possible.

Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. We are advertising for a permanent, Careers Adviser for 37 hours a week (term time).  This role is to provide impartial careers and education advice and guidance to students and parents.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Careers Team helping to ensure an effective careers programme that is up to date, dynamic and engaging for young people in Years 7 – 11, including work experience, guidance sessions and group work activities. 

It is essential that you have the ability to track all students’ careers experiences and oversee intervention where needed; to work with stakeholders and to provide successful transition of students into further education, training or apprenticeships.

The actual yearly salary is £20,015 to £20,595, for working 37 hours a week, 40 weeks a year plus a week in the holidays and inset days.  The salary is based on Single Status Grade 7, £22,689 to £23,346.
