Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Secretary Administrator, Single Status Pay Scale, Grade 6

37 hrs per week, term time only

We are an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person for the post of Secretary Administrator. Working as part of the office team, you will provide a secretarial service for the school, including managing our busy school reception desk.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours, term time only:

8.15am to 4.15pm Tuesday to Friday and 8.15am – 3.45pm on Mondays.


We are looking for:

•         Experience of working in a school reception or similar role

•         Knowledge of SIMs or similar information management system

•         Experience of Attendance and Admissions procedures (desirable)

•         Good keyboard skills including knowledge of Word and Excel

•         Experience of cash handling and banking procedures

•         A highly motivated person who can work alone or as part of a team

•         Someone who is organised and methodical

•         Someone who is reliable and dependable

•         Someone who is sympathetic to the Christian ethos of the school

•         Someone who has good communication skills and is able to establish good relationships with children and adults

•         Good time keeping skills
