A rare opportunity in East Sussex County Council for a confident leader to join our senior, strategic leadership team as a Head of Service for Adult Safeguarding & Quality. Building on solid foundations you will lead multi-agency working in respect of adult safeguarding activity within the county, ensuring the County Council has effective interventions and safeguarding processes. Pivotal to this role will be a commitment to stakeholder and partnership engagement through the East Sussex Safer Adults Board, Sussex Health and Care Partnership and the wider community.
We take a whole system approach to improving outcomes for adults and older people with partnership working at its heart. Strong relationships and structures for joint and integrated system leadership with the NHS are used to plan, commission and deliver health and care services across the County and we play an active system leadership role with NHS partners within the Sussex Integrated Care System at both Sussex wide and East Sussex levels.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
