Assistant Director, Planning Performance and Engagement

Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Full-time
Closing date: Friday 7 October 2022

East Sussex is a high performing authority serving strong local communities. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside and coastal towns that are vibrant and inviting, many of our residents are very satisfied with their quality of life. However, a number of our communities are facing significant challenges and rely heavily on the core services that we provide with our partners.

Our ethos of continuous improvement over the years has seen many of our services judged as good or outstanding and the partnerships we have forged with our key stakeholders are strong. With partners and residents, we aim to co-produce solutions that enable our residents to live as healthy and independent a life as they can, for as long as they can. This role is central to that ambition.

As Assistant Director for Planning Performance and Engagement you will be part of the Adult Social Care and Health senior management team, you will help develop our long-term strategy, continue to build strong relationships with our communities and partners, whilst spearheading our drive to exploit digital opportunities for all.

For a confidential chat about the opportunity, please contact our retained advisors at The McLean Partnership: Jonathan Swain 07733 304094 and Rebecca Rampat 07957 730837
