East Sussex U25's Substance Misuse Service are looking to recruit a Caseworker who can demonstrate a high level of professional practice and who has a good understanding of the issues related to Young People who misuse substances and the safeguarding concerns that may arise through the use of drugs/alcohol .
The role is within a specialist multi-disciplinary team providing an assessment and casework function to young people and their families across East Sussex.
You will be self motivated, organised and passionate about working with Young People, you will be able to engage with complex Under 25's and deliver a broad range of trauma informed psychosocial interventions to reduce the harms caused by substance misuse
You will be joining a team who share your passion and are continually developing practice.
To assist with your professional development within the team we will provide regular professional supervision and access to specialist training to support and develop your practice.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
