The Role

We are looking for a permanent, part-time (30 hours per week) Digital Communications and Marketing Manager to join our experienced, passionate communications and marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications and Marketing specialist to help drive digital engagement, run campaigns, lead on digital fundraising, with the aim to increase awareness of the YMCA DownsLink Group's impacts. The role also involves helping to develop the digital marketing strategy and deliver integrated campaigns to increase awareness and improve individual giving.

Working with the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the charity's digital channels.  You will have a strong technical background with a knowledge of digital analytics which will enable us to plan and develop relevant KPI’s. You will also manage the day to day creation of digital content for all our external channels, including our website, social media and e-newsletters.

This role works as a key part of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate supporting our overall strategic goals and inputting/supporting wider teams in the organisation. In addition, you will support the re-development of the charity's website to improve user experience and encourage donations.
