Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Teaching Assistant and MDSA

The Headteacher and Governors are looking for an extraordinary person to join our teaching support team.
Due to a promotion, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (19.75 hours per week) and MDSA (up to 4 hours per week) to work in our friendly and supportive school on a permanent contract.
The role may include working 1-1, with small groups of children as well as the whole class. The working times will be 5 mornings and 2 afternoons per week starting in September 2022 in a class determined before, after or from the interview.
The successful candidate will need to:
• Have the ability to provide classroom support and prepare appropriate resources.
• Work closely alongside the class teacher to provide support to an individual or a group of children.
• Have a calm, patient and friendly manner with children
• Be flexible and learn quickly
• Demonstrate an enthusiam for making a difference to the lives of our children.
