Westfield is a popular one-form entry village school, set in the countryside just outside of Hastings. We believe our role, as educators, is to prepare children to be successful in life. We are a good school and we want a TA who can inspire our children, as well as work creatively alongside the class teacher to provide an innovative and engaging curriculum that enables everyone to achieve their goals.
We need a TA who:
• is passionate and nurturing, who can be flexible in their approach to this varied and busy role.
• has a positive attitude and a love of learning
• can help and encourage children with their learning
• has a strong understanding of the principles of child development and learning processes
• can work with targeted groups and individuals in adult led and child initiated activities contributing to observations and assessments
• KS2 experience preferred
You will also be expected to undertake basic First Aid and/or Paediatric First Aid training if you do not currently have that qualification.
