Hours of work: 37 hours per week 
Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)
(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

2 Resilience Coaches

Single Status 6 to 7 -  £20,852 to £23,346

(pro rata and dependent upon experience)

Actual salary equates to £18,446 to £20,652 pa

37 hours per week (term time only)

plus 5 days to be worked during College holidays 

Some attendance at a few evening events will be required

Uckfield College is a highly successful and popular College in the heart of rural Sussex yet within commuting distance of Brighton, Eastbourne and the South Coast.  Uckfield College is an excellent working environment characterised by happy, well-motivated students and innovative and enthusiastic staff.

We are looking for someone who will use coaching methods to support students to achieve personal excellence by running 1-2-1 and small group bespoke interventions, for example, self regulation, anxiety and self-esteem. These interventions will be coaching conversations and also mental or physical challenges using both indoor and outdoor settings. It is essential that the post holder has the personal qualities and skills to foster positive links with students.  The Resilience Coaches will work as part of our large, experienced and strong pastoral and attendance team.

This role is dynamic and student focussed and will be both challenging and rewarding!  It is an exciting opportunity and, for the right candidate, could be the starting point of a path into teaching.
