An opportunity has arisen in Health and Social Care Connect (HSCC) for a Safeguarding Resource Officer

Health and Social Care Connect (HSCC) is the point of access into adult community health and social care services in East Sussex. The service provides residents with information and advice and manages professional referrals into community health and social care services.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Resource Officer to join our Safeguarding Adults Triage team. You will be responsible for prioritising, triaging and responding to all safeguarding concerns reported to Health and Social Care Connect, adhering to Sussex Safeguarding Adults policy and procedures and other relevant legislation.

The right person for this role will have demonstrable working knowledge of Safeguarding Adults, be motivated and able to deal with competing priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment. In return you can expect to receive regular supervision and comprehensive training and continuing professional development. 

This is a 37 hours per week post, working a variety of shifts between Monday to Friday 8am-8pm.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
