Framfield CEP School (part of the St Thomas á Becket Church of England Federation) a happy and successful Church of England Primary School in Framfield (near Uckfield), East Sussex is looking for a new member of permanent support staff to carry out three important job roles within our small busy rural school. Ideally the successful applicant will be able to start as soon as possible.  


Teaching Assistant 2 - 10 hours a week SS 3, point 7 £18887 PA, pro rata

You will be working alongside a class teacher preparing and undertaking educational support duties; assisting the class teacher in the day to day needs of the pupils in their care; enabling the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils' needs, whilst maintaining complete confidentiality on all school matters. 8.30-Midday and 1.30-3.00pm daily (5hrs daily).  Monday and Tuesday weekly. 


MDSA - 2 hours a week SS 1, point 2 £18333 PA, pro rata

To supervise, interact and take care of the children during the lunchtime period both in the school hall while children are eating lunches and in the playground of the school. Midday - 1pm daily, Monday and Tuesday weekly (1 hour daily).


After School Club Coordinator - 1.5 hours a week, SS 6, point 14 £20853 PA, pro rata

To provide safe, high quality play opportunities and care for children; be responsible for the day to day organisation and operation of the club.  There is a small number of children for whom a simple light tea would need to be prepared. 3.00-4.30pm Monday weekly (1.5hours). There is potential for more hours to be available within this role.

Total hours worked per week = 13.5
