The Communications and Engagement Officer is a new post within our team. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our communications and engagement plan, including undertaking key activities such as writing content for a variety of channels, promoting the work of TfSE, maintaining our social media channels and supporting the delivery of events. The successful candidate will work alongside the Communications Manager and the Stakeholder Engagement Manager to work with our wide range of national, regional and local stakeholders as we implement our SIP.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to effectively manage, prioritise and organise your workload, and work under pressure to meet competing deadlines.
Candidates for the role of Communications and Engagement Officer will require excellent knowledge of contemporary communications and engagement tools including digital communication, traditional media and public engagement and must be able to demonstrate their application to a wide range of audiences.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
