East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is working to increase its integrated approach to the delivery of health and social care services.  ESCC Occupational Therapy Services is looking for Occupational Therapists to be part of this process.

The role will include assessing Adults in line with the Care Act. As an Occupational Therapist you will have a pivotal role in the well-being agenda and inform the interventions needed to meet clients' and carers' assessed eligible needs. You will manage and reduce risks, allowing clients to remain as safe as possible in their own homes, using a reablement approach.

The role will involve using a range of solutions to enhance independence and reduce risk - including daily living equipment, housing adaptations, moving and handling techniques and joint working with partner agencies.

We will support you to develop the skills you’ll need to manage the challenges of this role within a learning environment built on a culture of continual professional development.

If you are energetic, self-motivated and committed to working across agencies, as well as strengthening partnerships, particularly with health, and are passionate about developing your career as an occupational therapist, then we would like to hear from you.

In return we will offer you a comprehensive induction programme, regular supervision and training and development opportunities together wit
