The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
Midday Supervisory Assistants - The Southfield Trust
The Southfield Trust is looking to appoint Midday Supervisory Assistants.
Candidates should be motivated with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team assisting the pupils during the lunchtime period. This covers a wide range of activities. The pupils in our schools may have speech and language needs, autism and/or complex learning disabilities. Some students also have associated emotional/ behavioural difficulties.
You will work alongside a friendly and supportive team who have a wealth of expertise and are committed to the continuing professional development of all staff The Trust offers a strong programme of in school training and a range of career development opportunities.
These are fixed term posts.
The paid hours of work are 10 per week - Monday to Friday.
This is a term time only post which is paid 44.85 weeks per year.
As this post is part time/term time only the salary paid will be a pro rata'd figure of the full-time salary (£18,516 (1.0fte)). The actual post salary is £4,304 per annum.
